Where It Started
KYMIRA® was founded in 2013 by athlete and biochemist Tim Brownstone following his experience with sports injury and interest in performance-focused apparel.
During his research, Tim explored scientific literature and emerging studies into advanced materials and their potential applications in textiles.
This led to the development of a concept focused on integrating innovative fabric technologies into wearable products.
Following years of development and collaboration, KYMIRA® was created to bring advanced textile innovation to market.
Tim continues to work with international partners and institutions on ongoing research and product development, and has spoken at a range of global business and innovation events.
